Next Level Administrators Expands with New Hires, Data Analytics Capabilities

Bradenton, FL – Next Level Administrators recently announced that it has taken the next steps in becoming a true data-focused organization fostered by a forward thinking, data-driven analytics culture. Since its inception, the organization’s goal has been to provide clients with relevant and meaningful information to make informed decisions to proactively manage their workers’ compensation claims that affect their business model.

John Sells – Chief Data Officer
Sells is a seasoned data management professional with over 10 years of experience leading and developing teams for a boutique data consulting services firm. As Chief Data Officer, Sells will manage the data analytics team’s performance and drive corporate culture. He has built and led highly productive and motivated teams capable of translating business strategy into technical solutions. His experience in application and data architecture design, data migration, data warehousing, and business intelligence will help the organization achieve its goal of establishing an industry-leading data analytics competency. Sells also brings significant project management experience to the team including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management of major organizational programs.

Sells holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, is a Certified Data Management Professional (Mastery level) and a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner. He has also presented at a number of conferences nationwide on data warehousing, data quality, and enterprise data management.

Karen Akens – Business Analyst
Akens is an experienced business and data analyst with management consulting, business process improvement, and project management skills honed over the last 25 years. In her role as business analyst, Akens will provide insights to data through data visualization while improving overall data management practices. Her expertise includes in-depth analysis of business processes, analysis of data and data sources, and development and communication of data-centric tailored solutions that add business value. Akens has helped clients improve data flow logistics, monitor and increase data quality, and develop data governance standards. Her prior experience also includes software development, implementation, and user training and support.

She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Urban Studies from Northwestern University, is a Certified Data Management Professional, and serves on the board of the Central Virginia chapter of the International Data Management Association. She has presented sessions on data governance, data quality, and data stewardship at several local and national conferences.
