Denver, CO – Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s leading workers’ compensation insurer, mobilized more than 200 of its employees for its annual Pinnacol in Action event in September and October. During the month-long event, Pinnacol employees volunteered more than 700 hours with the following organizations:
- Alzheimer’s Association – Colorado Chapter
- Anchor Center for Blind Children
- Aurora Mental Health Center’s Hampden Academy
- Bonfils Blood Center
- Denver Health
- Environmental Learning for Kids
- Florence Crittenden Services
- Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver
- Metro Caring
- Project C.U.R.E.
- The Action Center
The Pinnacol in Action campaign is part of Pinnacol’s overall volunteering efforts, which are expected to generate more than 4,500 hours of community service in 2016. By year end, 75% of Pinnacol’s 600+ employees are expected to have donated their time to a local cause as part of Pinnacol in Action.
