Walnut Creek, CA – Paradigm Outcomes recently announced an upcoming webinar scheduled for this Thursday, September 22, from 11am-12pm PT (2-3pm ET), on new new approaches to mental health in workers’ compensation.
In the United States workforce, mental health issues are common and the prevalence of depression is anywhere from 7% to 16%. Given the dramatic influence mental health has on the duration of physical injury claims, its effect on return-to-work cannot be overlooked. Case managers must understand the impact, detect these conditions early on, and move forward by thinking outside of the box.
Clinical psychologist and work disability prevention and occupational health consultant, Renée-Louise Franche, Ph.D., R. Psych, and Paradigm Medical Director Steven Moskowitz, MD, will discuss the fundamental principles of and latest research in mental health and return-to-work. Dr. Franche will discuss the impact mental health has on the course of workers’ compensation claims, claims management best practices, and applied recommendations for those on the front line.
The webinar is scheduled for: Thursday, September 22, 2016, 11 am – 12 pm Pacific (2 – 3 pm Eastern)
