Denver, CO – Pinnacol Assurance recently welcomed Gerry Lewis-Jenkins and Barbara Mellman Davis to its board of directors for the term beginning Aug. 31, 2016. Gov. John Hickenlooper appointed the two new board members, as he has for the rest of the board.
Lewis-Jenkins is the Chief Operating Officer for COPIC, with responsibility for developing and implementing products, services and programs for all insurance and corporate activities. Her 40 years of experience as a registered nurse and health care executive will be invaluable to Pinnacol’s board, and she will also fill the role of an employee of a Pinnacol policyholder on the board.
Mellman Davis is currently the manager, a member and co-founder of Madison Ventures, LLC, an investment firm that manages private investments in unique technologies, startups and other ventures. A varied career spanning 40 years has found her working as a CPA, CFO, president, and general counsel. She will bring her expertise to the board’s investment committee and governance and ethics committee.
