King of Prussia, PA – In one of his inaugural industry speeches as the new chief executive officer of the Insurance Information Institute, Sean Kevelighan will give the keynote address at the American Society of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AmCOMP) 2016 Fall Meeting, an event designed to help educate and inform insurance professionals involved in the workers’ compensation industry.
“We are thrilled and honored to have Sean Kevelighan speak at our annual Fall Meeting,” said John Leonard, president of AmCOMP. “Our members are fortunate to be among the first groups to have him speak at an event in his new role. I think it speaks to the strength
of our association to be among the few, select organizations Mr. Kevelighan felt were important to address so early in tenure as CEO.”
Prior to assuming the reigns at the Insurance Information Institute in August 2016, Kevelighan served as the global head of Public Affairs for Zurich Insurance Company after being promoted from senior vice president and head of Government and Industry Affairs in
North America for Zurich. His earlier career included working in the White House, the U.S. Department of Treasury and multiple stints on staff within the U.S. House of Representatives, along with other private sector employment.
The AmCOMP Fall Meeting will take place on Oct. 20, 2016 at Convene, located at 237 Park Avenue in New York.
The meeting will also include a panel discussion among regulators from around the U.S., a presentation on combating fraud by the New York State Inspector General, a range of current and emerging workers’ compensation issues of note and a number of other industry topics.
