King of Prussia, PA – MedRisk’s Chief Strategy Officer Ruth Estrich will present a strategic approach to managing physical medicine treatment and costs in workers’ compensation at the Lockton Southeast Claims Consultant Conference on July 18. Estrich will stress how physical medicine differs from other medical services and will highlight the key strategies to effectively return injured workers to pre-injury functionality. She will also discuss the growing importance of the role of physical therapists in reducing dependence on opioids and in identifying and resolving psychosocial barriers to recovery.
