Portland, OR – ATI Physical Therapy recently announced its continued expansion in the Portland, Oregon region with the acquisition of The KOR Physical Therapy, a three-clinic practice with locations in Beaverton, Hillsboro and Tigard. ATI is the nation’s largest physical therapy practice under one brand, and the addition of The KOR locations marks ATI’s fourth acquisition in the Oregon market, joining Erhardt Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, Willamette Spine Care & Physical Therapy and McMinnville Physical Therapy.
The KOR is a physical therapist-owned, private practice that has been committed to helping athletes and people with active lifestyles for over six years. Its mission is to maximize the potential of patients, employees and the community. The KOR offers a unique blend of services to optimize recovery and enhance performance for patients and clients, all in energetic and open environment with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a fun clinic culture.
“We joined ATI to help ensure that the way we treat patients will continue and grow in the Portland area,” said Donn Dimond, Executive Director of Clinical Operations with The KOR. “With ATI as a partner, we will now be able to reach more people and help many more achieve their potential.”
With exceptional, patient-centered care, trusted expertise and remarkable outcomes, the goal of ATI Physical Therapy is to exceed customer expectations—every day, in every clinic. ATI is a nationally-recognized rehabilitation provider, specializing in research-based physical therapy, workers’ compensation rehab, employer worksite solutions, sports medicine, home health, and a variety of specialty therapies.
“The addition of The KOR location is a perfect complement to our current Oregon locations,” said Lou Hillegass, Senior Vice President of Operations with ATI. “They bring the highest level of patient-centered care, state-of-the-art facilities and a mission that mirrors that of ATI. Together, we will build on their tradition of excellent care, and look for opportunities for additional growth and extended services so we can change more lives in the communities we serve.”
Complimentary injury screens are available at all ATI locations, and first appointments are scheduled within 24-48 hours, with early morning and evening hours available to accommodate patient schedules.
ATI accepts virtually all major insurance carriers, verifies patient benefits prior to the start of treatment and offers individualized payment plans. Unique to the industry, ATI’s dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy that improves awareness of patient outcomes and how the rehabilitative process can impact patients’ quality of life.
