Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the release of Willis Towers Watson’s Commercial Lines Insurance Pricing Survey (CLIPS) for Q1 2016.
The survey compared carriers’ pricing on policies underwritten during the first quarter of 2016 to those underwritten in the same quarter of 2015, and found that prices increased modestly in aggregate (less than 1%), continuing a three-year trend of smaller increases. WTW also noted that price changes were generally consistent with those reported one quarter ago. Comercial auto reported the largest increase, while three other lines, including workers’ comp posted moderate price decreases.
