MEMIC Hires Allen and Keck as Senior Production Underwriters

Portland, ME – The MEMIC Group recently announced the appointments of Tammy Allen as senior production underwriter for North Carolina and James Keck as senior production underwriter for Massachusetts to support continued growth within these markets.

Tammy Allen has more than 20 years of experience in the workers’ compensation market in agency management and field underwriting. In her prior role, she managed sales in a multi-state territory for one of America’s leading church insurers that also focused on senior living facilities and home healthcare. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

James Keck has 15 years of underwriting experience with 8 years at one of the largest workers’ comp carriers where he maintained an $8-10 million renewal book in addition to writing new business with a focus on education, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing industries. He has obtained his Certificate in General Insurance (INS), Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) and Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) designations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Minor in Business Law from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.
