George West, TX – Work Loss Data Institute, publisher of the Official Disability Guidelines (ODG®) Product Line, has hired Karen Caterino, MBA, ARM-P, CPM®, CGBA, as its Vice President of Strategic Solutions.
As part of her new role, Caterino will be responsible for ODG’s growth strategy, specializing in solution sales with state funds and carriers as well as leading new expansion initiatives for ACO healthcare delivery systems and auto/PIP markets.
Caterino has over 16 years of experience in the fields of risk management, workers’ compensation and employee benefits. Prior to joining the company, Caterino worked as the vice president national sales for Healthcare Solutions and as a former risk manager for the state of Nevada, where she developed and administered the risk management program for the state.

Karen has an undergraduate degree in Sociology, a Masters in Business Administration, an Associate in Risk Management-Public Entity, a Certified Government Benefits Administrator and a Certified Public Manager ®. In 2011, Karen was a Theodore Roosevelt Workers’ Compensation and Disability Management Award (Teddy Award) Finalist for State of Nevada’s innovative efforts to reduce number and cost of injuries to workers on the job. Caterino is a published writer and frequent presenter on topics regarding pain management and state adoptions of drug formularies.
