Addison, TX – Concentra, through its separate joint venture partnerships with MaineHealth and Central Maine Medical Center, recently announced it has expanded its customer base and reach with an asset purchase of Central Maine Partners in Health (CMPH) in Portland, ME, which operates two occupational medicine centers in Portland and Auburn. This acquisition marks the fourth acquisition by Concentra since its new ownership change in June 2015.
Concentra has consolidated CMPH’s existing operations into its two medical center locations in Portland and Lewiston, respectively. As part of the acquisition Ian Buchan, one of owners of CMPH will be retiring. Tawyna Brown, the co-owner, will remain onboard as Concentra’s new Director of Operations for Maine. Financial details of the acquisition were not released.
