Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap continues with another big day at the California Workers’ Comp & Risk conference in beautiful Dana Point, CA.
Yesterday kicked off with a great opening panel covering the state of the state, including how California stacks up nationwide, why claims are more expensive in the Los Angeles Basin, other cost drivers in the state, concerns, and suggestions on how we can improve the quality of benefits delivered to injured workers. Along with other great sessions the day capped off with a great Twitter meetup during the evening reception.
Today we’re looking forward to more great sessions, a motivating midday keynote, and maybe even some time at the tables at the Roaring 20’s Casino Night!
