Phoenix, AZ – CopperPoint Mutual, Arizona’s largest and longest serving workers compensation insurance company recently announced that it has added LoriAnn Lowery-Biggers, an accomplished insurance professional with 25 years of experience, to its five-member Board of Directors.
Lowery-Biggers currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer for The Navigators Group, a diversified specialty insurance company group with over $1 billion of annual revenue. Prior to taking this position she was President of Field Operations with Navigators.

Before joining The Navigators Group, Inc. in 2009, Lowery-Biggers served as President of Lloyd’s of London-North America. She previously held executive positions as Risk Management and Financial Products Managing Director and National Practice Leader for Wells Fargo, Vice-Chairman of Wells Fargo Captive, Inc., Managing Director-Financial Products at Marsh and McLennan and Sedgwick, Inc.

Lowery-Biggers is accredited as a Series 7, 24 and 63 with the National Association of Securities Dealers. She is a member of the Advisory Board of Overseers at St. John’s University School of Risk Management in New York City, and sits on the national board of Prevent Child Abuse America. In addition, she serves on the boards of the A21 Campaign, Propel Women, Global Advance, Inc., and the Heart of a Champion Foundation. She also is a member of the Counsel on Litigation Management
Lowery-Biggers served on the 2008-2009 P&C CEO Roundtable. She was chosen as a 2010 Reactions Magazine “Rising Star” and was selected a 2008 Business Insurance Magazine “Woman to Watch.”
Lowery-Biggers replaces Jim Weeks, who served on the board from 1993 to 2003, and again in 2008 until his retirement in 2014.
In addition to the election of its newest member, CopperPoint also announced the re-election of three current members of the Board to two–year terms: Ken Kirk (founder and owner of Meridian Financial Holdings); Ronnie Lopez (chairman of Phoenix International Consultants); and, Judith Patrick (principal of R.G. Patrick Land Planning and Development in Tucson).
The CopperPoint Insurance Company’s Board of Directors provides oversight and strategic guidance by working with the company’s executive leadership to assure successful operation of the company and the customers it serves. The board comprises six elected members, who serve terms of one or two years.
