Topeka, KS – Secretary Lana Gordon approved Steven Roth for the position of Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) Administrative Law Judge in Topeka.
Roth’s nomination was submitted by the Workers Compensation and Employment Security Boards Nominating Committee to fill the position previously held by Judge Brad Avery.
Roth practiced as an attorney in private practice with an extensive experience in workers compensation representing both injured workers and respondent employers for over five years. As a current magistrate judge of 22 years he offers an excellent track record. He received his undergraduate degree from Fort Hays State University and his graduate degree (Juris Doctor) from Washburn University.
“Steven Roth, with his 22 years of experience as a magistrate judge will be a high quality addition to the workers compensation staff of administrative law judges,” said Secretary Lana Gordon.
