Los Angeles, CA – Kids’ Chance of California is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to provide need-based educational scholarships to the children of California workers who have been fatally or seriously injured on the job. In December 2014, Kids’ Chance of California was privileged to receive WorkCompCentral.com’s Comp Laude™ with honor award of distinction, an award that recognizes integrity, success and achieving meaningful results that impact the entire system of workers’ compensation.
Since its beginning in 2012, Kids’ Chance of California has provided 11 scholarships for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years, helping eight students realize the dream of a college education. It’s our goal to build on that success and continue to positively impact the lives of young people in California.
