Parsippany, NJ – York Risk Services Group (York), a premier provider of insurance services, including claims management, managed care, specialized loss adjusting, alternative risk programs, pool administration and risk control, announces that Barry Haring has joined the company as Vice President of Sales, Northeast, for York’s Programs division.
As the largest, most experienced Third Party Administrator (TPA) in the programs space, York Programs provides services to more than 300 unique programs nationwide and has been approved by more than 50 major carriers. York Programs is the market leader in programs claims handling for managing general agents, program administrators and alternative risk markets.
Barry will be responsible for driving the development of new business from both prospective and existing MGA, PA and carrier clients in the Northeast region, where he will also be located.

Prior to joining York, Barry was Regional Vice President, Programs and Direct Markets with Zurich, with responsibility for managing program business in the Eastern US through direct sales and agency/broker distribution channels. After beginning his career in a claims capacity, he held several positions of increasing responsibility for Zurich in sales and account management.

Barry earned a BS degree in Liberal Studies from West Chester University, holds the CIC designation and is the recipient of numerous Presidents’ Council honors while at Zurich.
