Larkspur, CA – Systema Software recently announced that American All-Risk Loss Administrators (AARLA) has selected SIMS Claims™ to support its workers’ compensation claims process. Systema Software will host the claims solution via its SIMS Cloud environment.
AARLA is a third-party administrator specializing in workers’ compensation claims adjustment in California and providing services to insurance companies and self-insured clients.
Steven Wigh, President of AARLA, commented, “We wanted to leverage new state-of-the-art technology and partner with a company in tune with the workers’ compensation industry. We conducted an extensive RFP process with multiple software vendors. The process was led by our CIO, but involved a cross section of our company, including claims adjusters who would be using the system everyday. We went through several stages of evaluation, including a deep dive into system capabilities and performance. SIMS Claims emerged as the solution that met all our system and business criteria.”
Lou Feliz, CIO of AARLA, added, “In the market, some systems may look new, but they actually have a legacy backend. Systema Software had done a great job of designing SIMS Claims from the ground up to serve as a modern browser-based solution using the Microsoft stack. Systema’s team also has a reputation for providing outstanding customer support. Together, Systema and AARLA have already initiated a thorough discovery and implementation process. Having the system hosted in their SIMS Cloud environment will enable us to easily scale to meet our business needs.”
Jose Tribuzio, CEO of Systema Software, commented on the addition of the new customer, “We’re thrilled AARLA has selected SIMS Claims, as we feel confident our system will deliver superior performance, an intuitive user interface, and flexibility to foster ongoing business opportunities, now and into the future. With our system’s robust functionality and pre-built connectors with industry partners—such as ISO for fraud detection, CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), document imaging, bill review, and pharmacy benefit managers—AARLA will be able to experience enhanced workflow and productivity.”
Steve Wigh of AARLA added, “We view SIMS Claims as an investment in our company’s future. We will provide our employees with the tools and technology to work with more focus and efficiency, and our company will be well positioned for the next five to ten years, as SIMS gives us agility to adapt to changing industry needs. Many public entities and reinsurance pools already use SIMS, so the selection also aligns us for strategic partnership and growth.”
