Towson, MD – Song “Mitch” He, CFA, CPA, will join Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company as Chief Investment Officer on January 20, 2015.
A Chartered Financial Analyst designation holder, Mr. He will manage Chesapeake Employers’ investment portfolio and advise the company’s board of directors on investment strategies to maximize portfolio performance.
Prior to accepting the CIO position with Chesapeake Employers, Mr. He was Director of Investments for Horace Mann Insurance Companies, a multi-line, publicly listed insurance group based in Springfield, Ill. His prior experience also includes five years at Denver, Co.-based Keating Investments, LLC (n.k.a. BDCA Venture Adviser, LLC), where he served as Vice President and Senior Analyst of Investment Banking, Due Diligence and Portfolio Company Advisory.
