Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the release of the results of Rising Medical Solutions’ 2014 Workers’ Compensation Benchmarking Study, which surveys nationwide workers’ comp claims leaders on their most pressing operational challenges.
This year’s study findings noted that claims organizations continue to face some issues that haven’t yet seemed to improve over last year’s survey, including declining investment in certain areas of talent development, and lack of adoption of advanced solutions. Results indicated that less than half of respondents’ organizations are using workflow automation, with even fewer using advanced analytics like predictive modeling.
