Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the recent announcement from Healthcare Solutions that it will be expanding its workers’ compensation pharmacy management partnership with EMPLOYERS. Since May 2013 Healthcare Solutions has been providing PBM services to EMPLOYERS’ clients in six states, and as a result of the success of the program it will be expanded to include an additional 22 states.
Alongside the addition of new states, the partnership will also be adding new services including a drug urinalysis screening program to identify aberrant behavior, an opioid management program, a compound drug re-pricing program, and California Pharmacy Benefit Network (PBN) services.
