Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the recent announcement from Illinois Governor Pat Quinn that NCCI has filed a request for lower workers’ comp rates in the state, with their recommendation of a 5.5% drop in advisory rates for 2015. Also in the news today is the California DWC’s recent proposal to change regulation and the Medical Billing and Payment Guide to postpone the current ICD-10 compliance date of October 1 for one year.
