Austin, TX – The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) will host the Texas Workers’ Compensation Compliance Conference in 2014. The conference will be held in Austin on September 12, 2014 and repeated in Houston on October 21, 2014. The purpose of the compliance conference is to inform employers, insurance carriers, health care providers, and designated doctors about common non-compliance issues and provide education to assist them in fulfilling their role within the Texas workers’ compensation system.
The Austin compliance conference will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel, 9721 Arboretum Blvd. The conference rate is $174 per night the cut off for the conference rate is Friday, September 5. The Houston conference will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Doubletree Houston Greenway Plaza Hotel, 6 East Greenway Plaza. The conference rate is $170 per night the cut off for the conference rate is Saturday, September 27.
Registration is $300 per person. The registration fee includes conference materials, one continental breakfast and one luncheon.
The conference will feature a general session and 12 breakout sessions, as well as exhibitors offering workers’ compensation-related products and services. Conference participants may be eligible for continuing education credits.
