Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the Ohio BWC’s recent look back on its “Billion Back” program’s first year. Along with returning $1 billion in rebates directly to Ohio employers, the plan included modernization of BWC’s billing system and tripled funding available for safety grants. BWC noted that its Safety Intervention Grant Program, which was enhanced as part of the Billion Back program, has become significantly more popular and distributed a record $15 million to 535 employers over the past year.
