Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features ExamWorks’ recent announcement of the completion of its acquisition of Ability Services Network and its subsidiary MedAllocators for an all cash purchase price of $80 million. The buy follows on the heels of ExamWorks’ acquisition of Gould & Lamb back in February, and announced alongside the deal was the creation of ExamWorks Clinical Solutions to manage the company’s expanding Medicare compliance business.
Also announced was the acquisition of Solomon Associates, Inc., a Pennsylvania based provider of IMEs and peer reviews for automotive, disability, liability and workers’ comp claims. ExamWorks noted that it expects the additions of ASN and Solomon to contribute annual revenues and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $38.0 million and $11.3 million, respectively.
