Energi Opens First Midwestern Office

April 14, 2014 - WorkCompWire

Peabody, MA -(BusinessWire)- Energi, a provider of risk management and insurance programs for the energy industry, recently announced the opening of a new satellite office in Downers Grove, Illinois. The new office, located at the Esplanade I, will provide operational support for Energi’s Midwest risk mitigation and insurance professionals.

“As North American energy production continues to boom, we have seen new growth in a number of regions,” said Brian McCarthy, Energi CEO. “Our strategic expansion includes adding offices that support the increased activity in these high-growth regions. With the Midwest’s proximity to a number of key markets, including domestic oil & gas production, opening a regional office was a natural fit.”

The Midwest office represents the first step of Energi’s 2014 expansion plan, following on Energi’s December opening of its Texas office. Over the next 18 months, Energi will continue to expand, with enlarged office space at its Peabody headquarters, and a planned office in Washington, D.C. to support its government relations and alternative energy solutions operations. Following the opening of the Downers Grove office, Energi will support its nationwide operations with offices in seven states.

“With operations across North America, Energi has a network of risk mitigation and insurance professionals that spans from California to Maine,” said Patricia Boudrot, Energi SVP of Operations. “While our staff is always on-the-go supporting our policyholder and broker networks, investing in offices cements our regional presences. Adding an office in the Midwest gives our regional staff a hub to work from, while also giving us space and flexibility for future local hires.”

Energi’s recent growth includes developing an Energy Savings Warranty (ESW) for a $5.4 million efficiency upgrade in Honolulu, Hawai’i, as well as its first Canadian Energy Savings Warranty for a retrofit project in Toronto. Additionally, Energi recently announced its partnership with InsurCard to offer prepaid debit cards for workers compensation claims.
