Employers Names Richard P. Hallman Executive Vice President, CIO

Reno, NV -(BusinessWire)- Employers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:EIG) recently announced that effective April 21, 2014, Richard P. Hallman has been promoted to executive vice president, chief information officer, overseeing all of EMPLOYERS information technology departments. Hallman previously served as senior vice president, chief information officer, a position he held with EMPLOYERS since 2010. He will continue to be located in EMPLOYERS headquarters in Reno, Nevada.

Hallman has over 25 years of experience in various technical and senior information technology leadership positions. Rich is retired from the U.S. Military where he served over 23 years in the Nevada National Guard and the US Air Force.

In making today’s announcement, Douglas D. Dirks, President and chief executive officer of Employers Holdings, Inc., said, “We are pleased to have Rich as part of the executive management team in this critically important role.
