Dovetail Insurance to Launch Workers Compensation Product in Five Additional States

April 21, 2014 - WorkCompWire

Columbia, SC – Dovetail Insurance, a supplier of cloud-based insurance product delivery services, recently announced that it has expanded its NetComp workers’ compensation insurance to independent agents in Virginia, and will also be adding Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan and Connecticut before the end of April. As part of its growth plan, in each of the new states, Dovetail plans to add a select number of qualified agents to distribute NetComp, workers’ compensation insurance program, and NetBOP, its A-rated Business Owners Policy insurance program, which is currently offered in all 50 states.

NetComp enables small businesses to receive a quote and bind a policy in only a few minutes. Dovetail uses an advanced insurance technology platform that enables agents, on behalf of their small business clients, to price and issue new policies in real-time. The process combines the latest technology with ease of doing business, so independent agents can bring their clients efficiency, convenience and value.

“We understand the needs of small businesses and the types of insurance products agents need to service that market. Our portal allows agents to rate, quote, bind and issue in less than 10 minutes,” said Dennis Rabon, Executive Vice President, Dovetail Insurance. “With the addition of five new states, we’ll be distributing workers compensation in 15 states nationwide. We plan to continue to expand, with distribution in more than 25 states by the end of the year. We’re adding a number of qualified agents in each of these states to distribute both our workers compensation product, and our BOP product.”

Dovetail’s NetComp offering is designed expressly for small and mid-sized businesses mono-line workers’ compensation insurance, and is distributed through independent agents.
