Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features ISO’s recent announcement of their upcoming project with the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development to create an EDI Data Quality Improvement Program aimed at improving the overall quality and usability of workers’ comp data among the state and its data reporters.
Through the voluntary program, participating ADOL data reporters will report claims data electronically using ADOL’s web interface, and receive quarterly report cards that identify data quality issues. Data reporters will also have access to their own compliance metrics and data reporting statistics from ISO’s workers compensation analytics platform. The program is the first of its kind, and is expected to roll out in April.
