Oakland, CA – State Compensation Insurance Fund is cosponsoring free seminars to help California employers develop a written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
All California employers are required to establish, implement, and maintain a written IIPP. At the seminar, employers will learn how to develop an IIPP or update an existing plan. An effective plan can save time, money, and lives.
The seminars will be offered on the following dates at these locations:

The events are open to insurance brokers and business owners, managers, and lead workers in charge of their organization’s safety programs. Training is provided by UC Berkeley’s Labor Occupational Health Program and Cal/OSHA’s free consultation service.
Other sponsors include the California Department of Industrial Relations, the California Department of Public Health Occupational Health Branch, Small Business California, California Small Business Association, and UC Berkeley’s Labor Occupational Health Program.
