Pegasus Celebrates 18 Years of Successful Claims Admin for Save Mart Supermarkets

January 14, 2014 - WorkCompWire

Modesto, CA – Pegasus Risk Management is pleased to announce its 18th year of consistently providing superior claims outcomes for Save Mart Supermarkets. Pegasus Risk Management is a full service third party administration company that offers workers’ compensation claims management services. In addition, Pegasus has created a complete vertically integrated claims management solution through its parent company, The Simon Companies.

“Save Mart Supermarket’s relationship with Pegasus Risk Management as the Third Party Administrator for our workers’ compensation program spans eighteen years,” said Bob Piccinini, Chairman/CEO of Save Mart Supermarkets. “Recently, we hired a prominent independent auditing firm to perform a total program audit. According to the auditor, Pegasus’ results were among the highest they’d ever awarded.”

“We believe the longevity of our employees, our continued commitment to excellence, and our ability to customize programs quickly in response to the frequently shifting landscape of workers’ compensation are major factors in our success,” said Paula Towe, Executive Vice President of Pegasus Risk Management. “These qualities are particularly important to successful outcomes in the claims management process.”

“It is an honor and a testament to the strength of our team to be recognized in such a significant way by a qualified independent organization,” said Jeff Simon, President/CEO of the Simon Companies. “I believe our willingness to design programs that meet our customers’ needs and our commitment to transparent business processes play an important role in our ongoing success.”
