Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features some new nonfatal occupational injury and illness data for Utah, courtesy of the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics 2012 report. According to the report, the overall incident rate in Utah for public and private sectors combined decreased to 3.5 (injuries/illnesses per 100 full-time workers) in 2012, down from 3.7 in 2011.
