Nashville, TN – Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a full-service, workers’ compensation and property & casualty third party claims administrator (TPA), recently announced that Glenn Backus has been appointed as its President.
Glenn Backus formerly held the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing since he joined ASC in 2002. He had overall responsibility for development of sales and marketing strategy to ensure new business growth within targeted lines of business and territories. Prior to joining ASC, he worked at Marsh where he was instrumental in developing claims management and reporting solutions for TPA’s, insurance carriers, brokers, pools and associations.
As ASC President, Mr. Backus is responsible for the implementation of actions taken and matters adopted by the Board of Directors for the areas of marketing, sales, and other matters promoting the company to outside parties. Mr. Backus is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key brokers, insurance carriers, clients, and prospective clients, in addition to oversight of the sales and marketing staff.
