EK Health Moves National Bill Review Office to Accommodate Future Growth

August 18, 2013 - WorkCompWire

San Jose, CA -(BusinessWire)- EK Health Services®, Inc., a national workers’ compensation managed care company, announces the opening of its relocated Sacramento office. The move provides additional space for EK Health’s national bill review services, and offers opportunity for future growth.

Headquartered in San Jose, EK Health has operated its national medical bill review services from the Sacramento office since 2009. The location at 6970 Destiny Drive, Rocklin, California 95677 has 10,000 square feet, replacing its previous space at Sacramento’s 2081 Arena Blvd.

“Moving the Sacramento office to a larger facility is consistent with EK Health’s strategic growth plans,” said Kerri Lierman, EK Health’s operations vice president. “We reached capacity in our previous location and lacked room for future expansion of staff and services.”

Lierman said the new office is more accessible and places EK Health in an ideal position to serve current and future customers, while further expanding the reach of all of its workers’ compensation managed care services.

EK Health, which provides managed care services to workers’ compensation payors coast-to-coast, has 150 employees, with 20 percent dedicated to bill review.

The Sacramento office is the epicenter of EK Health’s bill review operation, said Jeff Jahnke, EK Health’s executive director of bill review. “Because we contract with payors nationwide for a range of services scalable to clients’ needs, our office must support these services and accommodate the cost containment technology we use to perform bill review that is accurate and compliant in multiple jurisdictions,” Jahnke said.
