Friedlander: 25% Dividend Paid for United Restaurants of NY WC Safety Group #556

July 8, 2013 - WorkCompWire

Purchase, NY -(BusinessWire)- The Friedlander Group, Inc., the Group Manager for United Restaurants of New York Workers’ Compensation Safety Group #556, underwritten by the NYS Insurance Fund, paid a 25% dividend to 1,140 members with policies effective from September 30, 2011, to September 30, 2012.

The 25% dividend is in addition to the advance discount of 25% and 10% savings on the NYS Assessment. The nineteen year average dividend is 37%. A member with a standard premium of $10,000 paid only $4,875 in premium, after discounts and dividends.

“United Restaurants Workers’ Compensation Safety Group members have saved over 50%, each year for 19 years, on their workers’ compensation,” said Adam Friedlander, Group Manager. “This year’s 51% savings is particularly meaningful to members, in light of the challenging economy. Friedlander Group is focused on improving the productivity, efficiencies and profitability of our clients by keeping the employees working and safe,” said Friedlander.

In addition to this restaurant workers’ compensation safety group, Friedlander Group manages six others for retailers, wholesalers, hotels, oil dealers, home health care and residential care facilities. In total, $150 Million in dividends have been paid to members, in addition to discounts.
