San Jose, CA – EK Health Services, Inc., a national workers’ compensation managed care company, has hired Frank S. Hall, MSN, RN, CCM, as director of clinical operations.
Hall has 19 years of clinical leadership and management experience in the medical field, including executive positions with national companies specializing in workers’ compensation case management, peer and utilization review, including pharmacy peer review.
He is skilled at developing managed care products for pharmacy and other medical case management utilization tools that achieve payer savings, especially in pharmacy benefits.
Able to troubleshoot complex medical case files with multiple medical and legal issues, Hall collaborates with and advises clients, attorneys, and claims staff on the current medical, legal, and regulatory environment.

Hall will support EK Health’s medical case management, utilization and peer review, bill review and Medicare Set Aside in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and will have a special focus on pharmacy.
Hall was branch manager at Dane Street, LLC, and the director of nursing at a managed care company now part of ISG Holdings, Inc. Hall’s career includes hands-on experience in the hospital setting, having served as co-manager of case management for a 150 bed acute care hospital.
He is a credential registered nurse, nurse practitioner and case manager, and a member of the Diversion Evaluation Committee of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Hall, a resident of Walnut Creek, California, earned a master of science, nursing/nurse practitioner from University of Texas, Arlington, and a degree in associate of science, nursing/registered nurse from McLennan Community College, Waco, Texas.
