Duluth, GA – To keep pace with its burgeoning growth, PRIUM has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Bret Cade as executive vice president of business development.
Cade brings more than 20 years of workers’ compensation sales, long-term disability and managed care expertise to the position, most recently serving as executive vice president of sales for Gould & Lamb. He leveraged his early experience as a field case manager into a management role at IntraCorp, and then moved to Concentra where he managed operational and sales employees in the southeastern U.S.
Other employers include Integrated Healthcare Services, MSC and Re-Employment Services. A Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Cade has served on the Georgia Self-Insured Association Planning Committee for seven years and on the Board of Directors for the Rehab Interest Group for two.
Mark Pew, formerly senior vice president of business development, transitions into senior vice president of product development. “Mark has done an exceptional job of managing sales, marketing and product development, bringing both name recognition and clients to PRIUM,” said Michael Gavin, PRIUM’s CFO and chief strategy officer. “Now we’ve reached the stage where we need more dedicated focus on sales and marketing and were fortunate to find someone as experienced in workers’ compensation sales as Bret.”
Pew has worked with PRIUM in a variety of roles since 1989 and is responsible for creating its Physician Pharmaceutical Intervention program. He also spearheads educational efforts, having spoken over 80 times since 2012 at workers’ compensation conferences, webinars, and direct training sessions. In his new position, Pew continues to drive marketing initiatives and product development efforts for the company.
