Ohio BWC Board of Directors to Host Public Forum

Columbus, OH – The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Board of Directors will host a public forum Wednesday, June 12 in Dayton for area business owners, medical providers, stakeholders, injured workers and other interested parties.

Members of the board will conduct a roundtable discussion about BWC and how policy decisions are made by the Board of Directors through their committee structure. This is also an opportunity for the directors to learn which issues are most important to stakeholders in the Dayton area, and the suggestions they may have for improvement.

BWC is governed by an independent Board of Directors appointed by the Governor. The 11 members serve staggered three year terms, and by statute represent large and small business, labor, injured workers, the public and investment, auditing and actuarial expertise.
