Madison, WI – The IAIABC is proud to welcome Ms. Anne Naser of WorkSafeBC as the newest member of its Executive Committee.
Ms. Naser is the Chief Information Officer for WorkSafeBC, a position she has held since March 2008. From June 2005 to June 2009, she held the position of Program Director for the WorkSafeBC Claims Management Solutions project.
Ms. Naser has a strong history of board participation through her work as a Governing Body member for the Western Canada and North American chapter of the CIO Leadership Network. She has also worked extensively with organizations in the design and development of information technology related education programs that combine business and technology management lessons.
“Ms. Naser’s many years of strategic planning and governance experience will be a valuable asset to the IAIABC,” says IAIABC President Christine Baker. “She will also bring a very different perspective to the Executive Committee with her background in information technology. We look forward to working with her as a member of the Executive Committee.”
The IAIABC Executive Committee is comprised of ten administrators and senior-level directors of jurisdictional workers’ compensation agencies, as well as one IAIABC associate member, who serves as an ex-officio member and is the elected Chair of the Associate Member Council. The Executive Committee is charged with governance of the IAIABC.
Ms. Naser replaces Ms. Pamela Cohen on the Executive Committee, who is retiring from WorkSafeBC.
