Memphis, TN -(PRNewswire)- Sedgwick recently announced that noted benefits expert Denise Fleury has joined the company as senior vice president, disability and absence management.
In her new position, Fleury will play a senior role in Sedgwick’s growing disability and absence management practices, helping to drive product development and serving as an expert resource for Sedgwick’s client service teams and customers to identify opportunities for improving their programs.
Fleury brings to Sedgwick more than 25 years of experience in occupational and non-occupational disability and absence management. For more than 15 years, she worked as a consultant to some of the largest employers in the country in the design and implementation of their programs.
Most recently, Fleury was a senior consultant in the national absence management practice at Mercer. Her other prior positions include director of risk and insurance for a Fortune 100 company and director of the State of Minnesota’s workers’ compensation program.
Fleury earned a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
