KEMI Offers Workers’ Comp Program for Kentucky Chamber Members

May 1, 2013 - WorkCompWire

Lexington, KY – Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance (KEMI) is partnering with the Kentucky Chamber to make workers’ compensation rates more affordable for Kentucky Chamber members and to provide the resources and support that are necessary to improve and maintain a safe work environment.

Kentucky Chamber members who meet specific qualifications will receive a discount of 10% on KEMI’s extremely competitive rates when they choose KEMI for their workers’ compensation insurance coverage. Additionally, KEMI policyholders benefit from a wealth of free safety resources and loss education services, as well as the assurance that comes with KEMI’s A- “Excellent” financial stability rating from A.M. Best.

“KEMI appreciates the work of the Kentucky Chamber and is excited about the value added benefits this new workers’ comp program will provide to Kentucky Chamber members throughout the state,” said Roger Fries, President & CEO of KEMI.

KEMI has successfully helped thousands of policyholders reduce their workers’ compensation insurance premiums by empowering them to “control their own destiny” through a focus on safety education and training. This philosophy, along with KEMI’s disciplined business practices and sound financial management, has allowed the company to return more than $40 million to Kentucky businesses through rate reductions and dividends in the last three years alone.

“We’re delighted to partner with KEMI to offer our members across the state an added benefit that will go directly to their bottom lines,” said Kentucky Chamber President and CEO Dave Adkisson. “KEMI has been a great success story for Kentucky businesses since its inception. Businesses want to control their own destinies when it comes to workers comp costs and KEMI partners with Kentucky businesses to do just that.”

The KEMI / Kentucky Chamber Workers’ Comp Program will be available to Kentucky Chamber members after July 1, 2013.
