Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features some more mobile technology news, as pharmacy and ancillary benefit management company myMatrixx has announced the release of their new myMatrixx Mobile app. The app is designed for both claims professionals and injured workers, allowing adjusters to manage claims directly from their smartphone, with quick access to claims, the ability to authorize pending medication or ancillary orders, receive instant quotes for ancillary items, place an order, and review a patient’s claim history.
Injured workers will also have the ability to manage their workers’ comp claim from the app, with features including a pharmacy locator with interactive driving directions, claim status updates, and a mobile version of their personalized ID card. The app is currently accessible on mobile devices via mymatrixx.com and in the Google Play Store, and will soon be available from Apple’s App Store.
