Parsippany, NJ – One Call Care Management (OCCM), the nation’s leading partner in providing specialized services that lead to faster, more efficient and cost-effective resolution of claims, recently announced new roles for its key executive leadership.
Joe Delaney, President, will now also serve as Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the direction of all operations including OCCM’s best-in-class business units in diagnostics, home care, equipment and device management, transportation and translation, and dental and doctor services.
Don Duford, who has served as CEO during One Call Care Management’s rapid growth and expansion over the last three years, will move to the position of Chairman of the Board, playing a key role in business strategy and business development. Kent Spafford, who joined the company as CEO in 1999 when it was One Call Medical and has most recently served as Chairman of the Board, will take on a role as company advisor and remain on the Board of Directors.
“One Call Care Management is unique in its ability to offer comprehensive best-in-class services for payers throughout their entire claims enterprise to improve outcomes, lower costs and enhance efficiency,” stated Delaney. “Working with the progressive companies who are our customers, we are already transforming care management and customer satisfaction. Taking on an expanded leadership role within the company is an exciting opportunity to bring this game-changing solution to the entire industry.”
One Call Care Management has successfully brought together the three elements that deliver integrated best-in-class care throughout the life cycle of the claim: 1) strong national networks of high quality specialty providers, 2) sophisticated analytics that identify high performing physicians and specialists, and 3) the technology that connects these formerly fragmented players into a virtual integrated team focused on the injured worker. In addition to taking this powerful solution to the marketplace, OCCM is continuing to consistently develop new initiatives and service improvements.
Duford noted, “Since the early days of One Call Medical, this company has had outstanding customer service, performance excellence and innovation built into its DNA. Kent Spafford’s leadership has been a major force behind all of our achievements. His contributions will always be appreciated and recognized, particularly the tradition of fostering close client relationships that produced outstanding results and customer loyalty. This legacy continues through our executive team and our national, multi-level account management teams that provide ongoing support to our customers and ensure superior service across all business units.”
“Joe Delaney has proven himself to be a strong leader through his success as CEO of MSC Care Management and now at One Call Care Management. I am confident that the vision and value that our expanded company brings to its customers will be realized under his leadership,” concluded Duford.
Prior to his role as president of One Call Care Management, Delaney served as president and CEO of MSC Care Management, which became a One Call Company in 2012. Duford joined One Call Medical in 2004 from positions with CIGNA Integrated Care and Intracorp.
