Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the release of an announcement from the Ohio BWC that registration is underway for Destination: Excellence, a workers’ comp discount plan that rewards Ohio employers for helping prevent workplace injuries and getting those getting injured employees back to work. According to the BWC, over 100,000 employers have already chosen to participate in at least 1 of 7 available programs, and are expected to achieve an aggregate savings of $28-41 million.
The BWC noted that the “cafeteria style” plan offers a package of BWC programs that allow employers to customize their own risk-management plan and rewards their investments in accident prevention, cost control, and policy management.
