Atlanta, GA – Healthcare Solutions, the parent company of Cypress Care, ScripNet and Procura Management, recently announced the appointment of Jim Greenwood to the company’s board of directors.
Greenwood is a 20‐year veteran of the property and casualty industry, and served as the chief executive officer for Concentra for the past five years, a leading national health care company focused on the workers’compensation industry with more than 330 medical center sin 40 states. During his tenure as chief executive officer, he led the company through a time of significant growth and innovative transformation for its national medical practice that includes over 1,500 affiliated primary care physicians and physical therapists expanding to address the needs of the broader health care system. During his 20‐years with Concentra, he has held the positions of chief financial officer and led the firm’s mergers and acquisitions activities.
He currently serves as president and COO of Vision Source®,the nation’s largest optometric alliance with more than 2,800 practice locations and 5,300 members in the United States and Canada.
Greenwood’s career in health care began in 1993 when he joined Concentra’s predecessor company as chief financial officer. Greenwood served in the banking industry for seven years prior to 1993, serving as senior vice president for BankOne, Texas,N.A. and a predecessor financial institution.
