Oakland, CA – The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has scheduled a public meeting to discuss the issues related to drafting regulations regarding the SB 863 changes to medical provider networks. The meeting will be held:

This is the first opportunity for the public to provide input to the Division on regulations to implement MPN changes under SB 863. Specifically, the following issues will be addressed:
- New MPN applicants
- Reapproval process
- Petition process for MPN auspension/revocation
- Administrative penalties
- MPN audits/investigations
- Independent Medical Review (IMR) process
