Acclamation Insurance Management Services Selects PMSI for PBM Services

January 14, 2013 - WorkCompWire

Tampa, FL -(PRWeb)- PMSI and Acclamation Insurance Management Services (AIMS), a Third Party Administrator (TPA) that provides services for workers’ compensation, general liability, auto and property lines, recently announced that AIMS has selected PMSI to provide retail and mail order Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services for its client base.

“AIMS is excited to expand its partnership with PMSI,” said Dominic Russo, AIMS’ President and Chief Executive Officer. “We previously partnered with PMSI to provide PBM and Durable Medical Equipment provisions to several of our Hawaii-based clients and experienced very positive results. We look forward to applying PMSI’s strong cost containment tactics, out-of-network program strategies and innovative clinical programs throughout our client base.”

AIMS selected PMSI for its proven track record for minimizing out-of-network transactions. PMSI is able to achieve this by leveraging its robust retail pharmacy network, Tmesys™ and specialty network relationships. PMSI provides AIMS with access to extensive network penetration programs, a flexible technology platform and proven clinical management practices that incorporate multi-discipline expertise into their models.

“PMSI is well positioned to drive operation efficiencies that will significantly contribute to AIMS’ savings for their clients,” stated Eileen Auen, PMSI’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited about the expansion of our relationship and our continued partnership, as well as delivering on our shared commitment to managing claims effectively and achieving high levels of cost containment and quality of care.”
