Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the recent release of updated fourth quarter guidance from ExamWorks, in an effort to accurately reflect the impact from Hurricane Sandy and performance during the first two months of the quarter. According to ExamWorks, they expect reported revenue to range from $135 to $138 million, up from the $128 to $137 million provided during their Q3 2012 earnings call.
The newest expectations include roughly $4 million in lost revenue due to Hurricane Sandy, down from $5-10 million. ExamWorks’ Executive Chairman also noted that growth and momentum from the prior three quarters has continued in Q4, and that despite impact from Sandy they were pleased with overall results.
