Also in the news today is California’s WCIRB, who recently met to to continue their evaluation of the cost impact of SB 863. The WCIRB’s Actuarial Committee recommended several refinements to the preliminary cost evaluation of SB 863, which will be considered by the WCIRB Governing Committee at their meeting today. The Governing Committee is expected to vote to amend the January 1, 2013 Pure Premium Rate Filing at that time.
