Columbus, OH – Ohio’s inspector general recently released a report of investigation finding wrongdoing by an employee at the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Special Investigations Division.
The investigation found an assistant special investigations supervisor failed to accurately report state-business and commute travel in a state-issued vehicle, and reporting portions of the time commuting to and from her home as time at work, contrary to department policy.
The inspector general has asked the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation to determine if the conduct described in the report warrants administrative action, and to provide a response to the report within 60 days.
