Chicago, IL – For Rachel Fikes marketing has never been about the sale, but about the customer, a philosophy that’s proven measurable with Rising’s revenue growth increasing nearly fivefold during her tenure. Now the Company is looking to bring its customer-focused approach to even more in the marketplace by beefing up its talent in Marketing, Sales and Account Management.
“It’s an exciting time in our Company and we continue to have aggressive goals,” says Kimberly Moreland, Executive Vice President of Client Services. “Promoting Rachel helps to pave the way in our growth and expansion.”
Fikes brings 15 years of marketing savvy to the client experience. Her familiarity with the Company’s services, products and customers makes her a vital asset to Rising’s Client Services team. Moreland explains, “Rachel gets inside the clients’ shoes to feel their pain points. Her ideas go beyond marketing, they help us form solutions.”
A prime example of Fikes’ strength, to get inside the clients’ shoes, can be seen in Rising’s You-Make-It-Happen video, a tribute to claims professionals that was a 2011 American Business Award finalist.
“Too often claims professionals are undervalued and it was time for their contributions to get the spotlight,” says Fikes. “Our clients’ work is stressful, my job is done when my team has done something that makes their day easier, more enjoyable and, perhaps, even gets a laugh.”
Fikes’ focus on turning clients’ pain points into action moments that bear a solution – and a smile – have reaped a near perfect client retention rate over the past several years.
Prior to Rising, Fikes worked in the Information Technology industry as a Co-Founder of Falkor Group LLC and Director of Marketing for Technium Inc. She also worked in managerial marketing roles for a CMGI internet firm. Fikes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kenyon College.
